7 – VP’s and Guns

Aaron Burr, who was Thomas Jefferson’s Vice President, did not go on to hold any political office after serving as the V.P. This is famously because of the duel he had with Alexander Hamilton, where Burr shot and killed the founding father. Although he is the only V.P. to shoot and kill someone, he is not the only person to shoot someone while serving as Vice President. In 2006, Dick Cheney, shot a hunting buddy with a shotgun, which was supposedly an accident.
